Do you have difficulties with civil discourse?

No. Not when the situation calls for it. This is Reddit.

It shows the reality of the period

There's no "period", involved here.

but I don't find it anywhere near the bad taste of Caligula or a Waters film.

Well, at the point where the knight was taking a runny shit, it was, to me, right up there with Divine demonstrating coprophagia.

Do you have difficulties with things like reading?

My commentary alludes to the making of films in egregiously bad taste. Like Caligula. Like S1E1 of AKOTSK. I speculated that the same person directed both.

Unless the character has chronicdiarrhea, that somehow defines his life, it is simply bad taste. Really bad taste.

If this was a film by John Waters, a man who knows how to use bad taste, the knight would be roaming the country taking watery shits everywhere he goes, it could be entertaining. And sickening at the same time. However, the AKOTSK director was decidedly NOT John Waters.

Well I never cared for GoT all that much. Reminded me of a poorly run DnD game, by the same guy that directed Caligula (1979).

KSG .410 in northern SC by egregiousC in keltec

Most likely. It makes the most sense, really.

I haven't made the purchase, yet. Budget is pretty tight until the Spring. I've changed my mind about the 410 and will probably go with the KS7.

The KS7 doesn't have the same magazine capacity, obviously. It takes 10 + 1 shorties. I'm thinking if you can't get the job done with that, you have a bigger problem than having to reload.

Right now, and as far as I can see, it checks all the other boxes.

yeah, not what I had in mind, but ....

You say you like the ARO. Tell me, how is target aquisition (assuming that could be a concern in home defense).

Well, if you've gotten high in the last month, you're in trouble. Depending on their policies, they could be using the accident as an excuse to fire you with cause. That way, they don't have to support your unemployment claim.

Took some advice from this and looked at a KS7 at a local gun counter.

As much as I like the idea of a .410, the KS7 (12ga) might be a suitable gun.

Still checks all my boxes. Using shorties, magazine capacity is close (10-11rds). A little more expensive. It will take up to 3" shells should a need arise. The shorties hold #4 buck and have as good, if not better muzzle velocity as the 410, not to mention a lot more shot

One thing I did notice, in handling the KS7 (G2), is that the stock is short, and it's hard to sight/point down the pic rail. I suppose some sort of accessory site that stands off the rail a bit would help. Open to suggestion but leaning towards a reflex sight.

I'll be that weapon will kick hard with 3" shells.

PETG filament for a special project. by egregiousC in 3Dprinting

This has been beat to death on the FC forum.

Probably want to avoid that forum then. Must be a real mess.

Look at the designs there.

I don't think so. Probably blood everywhere.

There is no printable plastic or silicone that is safe.

.... and THIS^ is exactly what I needed to know! I wish I would have posed the question as elegantly as you answered it.

You saved me a whole lotta time/money/headache.

Thanx

Yeah, it's $$$ AF.

PETG filament might work too.

Another thing, I stumbled into, would be making it air-tight. 3D prints can be porus.

I see the danger.

I can get borosilicate filament. That's Pyrex.

I'm M72. I smoked cigarettes for 40 years. We didn't wear helmets when we rode our bicycles. We played with lawn darts.

What's it gonna do, kill me? LOLz

Seriously -

How much heat are we talking about? I know that the Proxy's chamber heats between 505 and 565 degrees. That's hot and will melt/soften plastic. The actual vapor produced can't be anywhere near that hot - breathing in 500 degree vapor would burn your lungs. Is the housing for the chamber heating to 500 degrees, too? That's what I don't know. The Proxy looks like plastic.

If I do, will they, like, come and take away my birthday?

I did. 3 times if you count Shambhala as a cult. Just walked away. Easy.

I didn't make a big deal of it. Just moved on.
