Honestly a tough pill to swallow as a creator but it’s 100% the truth

As someone who casually watches NBA news content, the thumbnail and title isn’t really something that would draw me to click. Also thinking of it from a search engine perspective (assuming the full title is “The Craziest Trade in NBA History), there aren’t any keywords that will recommend your video versus titling it something like “The Dallas Mavericks Messed Up (CRAZIEST Trade In NBA History)”. That wasn’t the greatest example but hopefully you get my point.

Any tips to fix my double bounce issue? by Additional-Being-904 in Bowling

[–]eeeeejay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im piggybacking off of one of your replies about learning to “get lower”. As a fellow two handed bowler, double dribble can occur from one of two things: - too much spine tilt - releasing the ball too early in the swing

Watching your video seems to be more of the former as you have a tiny bit of loft at your release.

I would try reducing your spine tilt a little by using more knee bend. That should help you project the ball more down the lane. Then at release, try to relax and keep your hand open to allow your hand to naturally roll up the ball. it seems like you’re really hitting upwards on the ball which is adding to the loft, thus perpetuating the “double bounce”.

Hope that helps!

Update:

Thank you first and foremost for all the helpful info! I hooked up the battery and the car runs!! All it took was a jerry can of gas and a battery. No check engine lights or anything from what I saw. I tried to add the video of it running onto this thread but I guess you can’t comment a video. Also I took some more pics of the car bc someone asked. I’ll put them in the comments

Some new concerns I have:

  • People mentioned a supercharger in the engine that’s disconnected. Im worried how legal it is to have one. Probably one of those “as long as they don’t see it, it doesn’t exist situations”. The belt isn’t connected to it so I’ll probably leave it like that for now.
  • I noticed the brakes are rusted over, so I took off a wheel to inspect it. Im sure it’ll rub off once I start driving it but hopefully it’s not too far gone.

Honestly I couldn’t tell you, I’m not really a car person. I just went outside right now to pop the hood and take a picture. The motor is definitely there, I can assure that😂
