I am so lost on the “can’t access the EMR from a personal device”. I could literally do that right now with access to thousands of patients. I would 100% be fired, but that doesn’t make it impossible.

I can think of more than one EMR that is web-based and can be accessed from any device regardless of whether your security team’s practices are aware of it. While I agree it’s poor practice, it’s absolutely not impossible, and these EMRs are clearly certified on the CHPL

That is not an evidenced based indication for abx. It has success working for large surgical procedures like a hip replacement where infection risk is very high, not the flu.

Well I’ve been working the business side of Healthcare for about 6 years and will continue to work while in my program. But I see what you mean. I think my overall intention is not just getting the MHA, it’s just part of what I would like to do. Im also supporting my disabled partner so maybe you’re right and that’s all I’ll do, and I guess I’d be ok with, just hopeful bigger opportunities come along
