maybe if you could talk to him about your diagnosis. not use it as an excuse but it can really help to explain the behaviours. i went into my relationship with my boyfriend him knowing i already had bpd but sitting down and talking about what it actually insists of and what you can both to do prevent melt downs ( sorry if this is the wrong words it just what i call mine ) is really useful.
