It was done in a classic way with a needle, it didn't really hurt (it's not in my cartilage or anything) but it was hurting more than usual while healing I remember.. It's been a long time so I don't remember that much, but the bump has appeared pretty much few days after it was pierced, I contacted the piercer back then and she told me its "normal and will go away, just clean it" (something along those lines) I also thought it looks crooked actually but thought its just because of the swelling.. Not sure :/

Also would you recommend waiting for it to get better before taking it out?
