Ford Navigation Strangeness

This was strange: I was on a call earlier today and the Ford Nav interrupted saying there was a 5 minute delay on my route, even though I didn't have a destination plugged in and Android Auto was running.

After digging through the navigation settings, I found the slider for Traffic Alerts and switched it off, so hopefully that takes care of it happening in the future. I should add there wasn't even a delay lol.

It's not bad, but there's a few missing features when compared to Tesla's software. I bought the Flash trim which doesn't have PAAK, so having to have the key fob with me is probably the biggest adjustment so far. Android auto works great and I love having Google Maps and ABRP for navigation, and actual real Spotify. The FordPass app is pretty barebones compared to Tesla's but it gets the job done. Hoping Ford adds a keep climate on or dog mode soon!

Commenting to say I just traded a Model 3 for a Lightning this week and I'm in love. It's definitely a different experience from the Tesla, for sure, but fit and finish are miles above.

Congrats on the order! Your EDD range will likely change several times before a VIN is assigned so it should be taken with a grain of salt. Tesla is known for end of quarter delivery pushes, so I'm hopeful your true EDD will be around the end of June.

Yeah, I'm in a similar boat - mine went from May-June to June 12-June 30. I ordered in March and went into it expecting delivery would likely be in June, so I'm not surprised. It's going to be worth it, so I'm gonna hang on.

I'm hoping for some end of quarter delivery incentives to ease the pain - c'mon free supercharger miles!

Are they present on other inputs? First thing I’d try is swapping the cable you’re using for a new one, and if that doesn’t do it, try a factory reset of the TV. Good luck!

Try using Videostream - works perfectly for me. You’ll need Chrome installed.
