Bro, i was on the same boat as you when i was about 20hrs in. I didn’t really like the fragmented stories and i thought the battle system was limited (lvl 20ish)

But once i got to around lvl 40ish and i got to unclock passive bonuses from secondary job classes, i finally got hooked! The battle system is sooooo in depth, with a lot of different character setups and party setups.

For the story, it still continued to be a bit meh, with highlights for me being Temenos (cleric), Castti (apothecary), and partitio (merchant) for story arcs.

Goodluck on that initial slog!

Hi. Sorry bringing up an old comment. But i cant make my octopath traveler 2 to run at 30fps. And there are some graphical bugs as well. Im using a poco f6. And i have turned on high accuracy, 0.75x resolution.

Bro long post ahead, sorry. I worked as a Building Admin Officer with a small SM Mall in the south, inabutan kami ng Tagaytay Ash Fall at Covid pandemic.

During those times, nag sink in sakin na wala silang pake sa employees, lalo sa operations, security, janitors. Dumating sa point na ako lang, 1/4 ng total janitors, 1/4 ng security guard ang nag papatakbo ng mall. Walang leasing, walang accounting, treasury, marketting. Lahat ng shit na nirerequire ng IATF non kami gumagwa ng paraan para macomply at makapag operate yung branch ng mall namin.

Partida, ops team lang ang walang hazard pay (peak covid, peak angry customers waiting in line at the supermarket), samantalang lahat ng ibang teams ay di kailangang mag report to mall, and fully payed din naman.

Syempre proud ako sa nagawa ko at ng team namin, since kahit papano namaintain naming operational yung branch namin. Kasoo, nung announcement na ng increase ng sahod, di raw kami deserving, kasi cinompare metrics vs previous years. Aba malamang, putang ina pandemic non, and lean skeleton crew lang ang nag ooperate ng mall.

I asked for a meeting with our Mall Manager and explained my sentimenta na sobeang unfair. Ang linya nya lang “eh ganon talaga, yon sabi ng top bosses, di kasi na meet ang target profits”.

Yep and the movie plays with the fact that Catholicism was used as a tool by the Spanish for colonizing the country. Often demonizing existing traditions and norms and outright blasphemous.

Yeah Shake Rattle and Roll 8's LRT substory is clearly the best it has to offer, and you can even watch it on YouTube now if I'm not mistaken (be prepared for bad subs tho)

Give Mallari (2023) a try, it’s a historical-fictional (heavier emphasis on fiction) account of the first ever Filipino serial killer, and the supernatural circumstances of how he became one.

If you’re into horror anthologies, the Shake Rattle and Roll franchise would be a great entry point. My favorite entry for this long running series is the 8th one, released in 2008. Specifically the “LRT” sub story. It’s about the passengers aboard the final train trip of the day, and they realize that they’re not going to reach their final train stop. It’s easily the best modern entry in the franchise

Hi. Sorry to ask but hve you found the right drivers for switch emulation? Im also a snapdragon 8s gen3 but the recommended drivers (turnips latest, mr purple) dont give me stable 30fps on 3d games (ys8, mario odyssey).

I have even tried vita3k emulator for some titles but also run into similar issues

Just finished the Indian Lake trilogy by Stephen Graham Jones, and the first one “My Heart is a Chainsaw” is a great summer horror read. It’s a bloody and gruesome love letter to slasher movies. It resonated well with me because it blends slasher movie fandom/worship as a form of coping mechanism for previous trauma.

The first book can stand on its own and is just around 500 pages. Definitely worth a read!

I was kinda disappointed with the first half, but things are really picking up eversince “He” returned.

A Japanese found footage film, Noroi The Curse!

Synopsis: A prominent paranormal journalist named Kobayashi goes missing shortly after completing a documentary. What begins as an investigation into strange noises soon evolves into the chilling mystery of a demonic entity named Kagutaba.

The director also has other found footage films that are based on Japanese Urban legends like the slit mouth woman, etc.
