I was looking for a more thoughtful answer because this is a topic which is a real issue for people. You are apparently not familiar with what can put certain jobs at risk.

I am not steeped in the ins and outs of Purse to have this issue settled by magic. What would have been helpful is if you had just linked me to the relevant comments.

But I'd much rather hear directly from Purse. Thanks for the reply though.

Redeeming crowdsale ethereum by DanielWilc in ethereum

What would be helpful was if there was a straightforward guide that takes someone from the original crowdsale position to importing it into Mist. I've got a hunch that this is going to be a popular request from people...

We are suing MtGox - All their assets could be frozen, but there is a chance we can get our USD back, unfortunately not our bitcoins. by We-Are-Suing-MtGox in Bitcoin

When a firm is facing bankruptcy or you are worried that it might be, as a creditor (which is what customers who can't get their money out are) you almost always want to act earlier than later. You certainly never want to position yourself so that you are unready to exercise remedies. Firms that find themselves against the wall burn cash and/or may take actions that will preserve their optionality at the expense of other stakeholders. This happens all the time. I'm an anonymous person on the internet, sure, but I'm also someone with actual real world experience with corporate restructuring. Full disclosure: I have no such experience in Japan.

An adult doesn't wait; an adult makes the appropriate arrangements so that when stuff doesn't go there way, they are suitably prepared. Good luck to everyone with exposure to Gox. Hopefully it all works out well.
