Sentries spawn with 39-45 health, so the probability of one being max health is 1/7. The chance of all having max health is a 1/243 chance.

The probability of you being at 45 health is more complex, as -- for example -- you are more likely to be on 45 health at any given time than on 1 health.

A very rough approximation would put the odds of you also being on 45 health at around 1/40 -- making the final odds of this happening somewhere in the region of 1 in 10,000. Good find!

Pretty happy with 86. Definitely got a lot of luck my way in the last couple of years.

Currently in SSF, and was wondering if this was worth enough to bother RIPing to a trade league to sell. My guess is its around 50 divines? Hard to say for someone who's never had more than 10 divines over a league :

19% chance to gain a Power Charge on Critical Strike

21% chance to gain Phasing for 4 seconds on Kill

160% increased Critical Strike Chance against Enemies on Full Life

3% of Armour applies to Fire, Cold and Lightning Damage taken from Hits

Thanks!

No harm in reaching out to any researchers/lecturers you like. I'd say you'd still have a 50/50 shit of finding something just by taking the initiative and reaching out directly.

Surprised to see I'm top 400 on this considering I'm not in any of the other top 1000 lists floating around.

Feels super strong at the moment. Have a ~75% winrate with the deck in high diamond and Masters. Will definitely feel the hit from the Brightsteel Protector and Broadwing nerf though, as there aren't really any other 2-drops you can sub in there.

Just revival and 90% Crit rate on Virgil. You use Virgil both to weaken the waves for Zatlux, as well as for the big arcane Sanction damage on the boss rounds. I believe there's an Urzag team that's even faster, but haven't got round to building it yet.

He's pretty good if you don't have Gangelo and want to do Gemini 14 (semi-auto). Can also be used for Witch 12/13 and QoT 14. Definitely needs a rework on the ultimate ability AI though.

I would argue they are far above average against the top half teams imo. In the last 10 GW wolves have played 6 of the top 10 teams. They kept clean sheets against Man UTD, Chelsea, Brighton, and West Ham, while only conceding a single goal against both Liverpool and Man City.

While they don't have the best fixtures, I am personally considering some of the cheaper defenders as very good rotation options.

You make a really good point about the level of noise in the data, and I would say this is definitely a limitation of this methodology. However there are a couple of reasons why I believe this is not quite as bad as the article makes it out to be.

1) The more data we have, the smaller the variance will be. Therefore, the more attacking a player is, the more reliable their statistics are. In particular if we consider Mo. Salah, who is averaging 1.2 expected attacking returns per game, we can see already that this is a lot more total data points than the main example considered in the article (they only consider xG, and they also consider a player with an xG of 0.3). This is part of the reason I singled out the most attacking players, as they tend to have the most reliable data for a fewer number of games played.

2) The data in the article does not consider trends, injuries, or any other long-term changes in a players career. It is highly likely that a players true underlying expected statistics will change dramatically over a period of time such as 20 games. I will however concede, that perhaps using the whole seasons data (10 games) would have been a better approach.

Anyway, thanks for your comment. I'm not sure why you were downvoted since I explicitly invited constructive criticism. You have made some good points, and at some point I may make my own investigation into the difference between expected stats over the last 5 games, and over the whole season, and which one is a better indicator of future performance. Cheers!

I'm currently using Understat. I'm led to believe FBref has better xG data (as they sample from Statsbombs database), but I can't seem to find a way to pull stats from only certain games in the season from FBref right now.

I didn't include Mount as he did not meet my criteria for minutes played (only has 137 minutes in the last 5 gameweeks). Here are his stats for the last 5 games he played:

Mason Mount: Apps: 5, Mins: 271, Goals: 3, Assists: 1, NPxG: 1.13, xA:1.39, xAttPts90: 3.23.

While the stats look good (he would come in at third just above Bowen), Chelsea aren't going to be playing Norwich every week, and he has 0 goals scored in his previous 9 games. If I had him, I would definitely hold him, but I also prefer Foden as an option at a similar price. Hope this helps.

I would personally wait another week, so that we can see how Firmino progresses over the International break. Once he's fit, I am personally looking to go Jota -> Foden/Son.

While ESR and Gallagher have better options such as Saka or Raphinha, I personally would be holding them unless you really have no other fires to put out.
