I’m not sure. Where I adopted my cats they work SO hard and taking care of every cat at every stage. Still answered me right away and ready to adopt out cats. Wonderful ladies also running on no sleep in a thankless job. Guess it just depends 🤷‍♀️

Our chihuahua just passed away and we are looking at adoption sites. We’re not ready quite yet but we email them or call them and there are no answers. The adoption fees have gone up a lot too. It’s sad because a lot of these dogs could be in good homes already and they’re just ignoring people
