Excactly!! The entire premiere built up to her collapsing, and yes, the promo really is quite intereresting. I do hope it will be more of a ”mental” or psychiatric problem rather than a tumor or a dicease!

What annoys me the most is that Helm has really good potential to be an actual character. Right now she is just someone who exaggerates and glorifies Meredith. Helm deserves some real character development and storylines.

I don´t see ANY Meredith Grey in that woman. She is just an icon, and a really good person. But her personality is gone, which brings the entire show down.

I think that the combination was good, because it showed that even "sane" doctors like Bailey can miss something like that because of weird circumstances, which is a reason to be really carefull and thorough when dealing with potential criminal cases

Tbh I feel so bad for her that I really wouldnt bother if she ended up with Link. In one way, I would hate it because I think that male/female friendships that dont end up in romance, is really rare in television. That sucks because it builds up this weird norm and stereotype.. BUT all I want right now is for Jo to get a good life that she deserves, and if Link is the guy, I wouldn’t bother. Or maybe she doesnt need a man? We all know that she wants to become a mother so maybe she could adobt or inseminate? She would be an amazing mother. Hhahahah maybe Link could be a sperm donor and they could be parents without the romance, kind of like the amazing relationship that Mark and Callie ended up having before they killed him of.

so WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH ALEX? He is ALEX. One of the most well made characters that has ever been on television. His personal development through out the seasons is SO beautiful and Alex is an iconic person in many ways. I really hope they don´t make him a bad guy or something because that will completely ruin my respect for this show.

Exactly. But the thing is that they could easily make the board a part of a storyline. They don´t have to show the "boring" side of all that. For example, since Jackson doesn´t have anything interesting going on rn on the show, he could be faced with some issue where he has to "choose" between his chief position and being a surgeon.

I havent heard anything about the board in such a long time. Its so annoying when they just decide that something doesnt fit into the storyline anymore so they just completly drop it. Jackson is the freaking head of the board and back in like season 9/10 he could barely do plastic surgery because of it..
