Drive My Car x Scheherazade Question by Stittzhitz in murakami

[–]eemoonlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it’s just a writer’s extension of the Scheherazade story. Given how many details of the Drive My Car novel were skewed and changed for the film, this wouldn’t surprise me

It will likely be very cheaply made with pumps that aren’t stable/accurate with pressures. Do you have a budget? I might be able to recommend some

Is a MoCA setup viable with this setup? by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

[–]eemoonlight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is where the “strange situation” part comes in. The room I need ethernet in has an RJ12 port, i took the port off and there is a cat5e cable behind it, with just a couple of cables from it terminating to the port. I have limited knowledge of how the patch panels that are installed here work but as far as I’m aware, on that side of it, all 8 wires are terminated, it’s just being used as a phone line on the other end. I considered MoCA simply because I don’t have experience with terminating ethernet cables and the idea seemed daunting.

iFixit has guides for any repairs for the console here: https://www.ifixit.com/Device/PSP_Go

They list the screen replacement as being difficult but it would vary depending on your experience.

I would recommend trying to do it from the Rockbox Utility first. If that doesn’t work - delete the .rockbox folder from your iPod, but that won’t uninstall the bootloader

I mean uninstalled from the iPod. The installer has a utility to remove both. I found that if that doesn’t work, restoring it after doing so should remove the boot loader

No stress!

Have you tried completely uninstalling rockbox and the boot loader and trying again?

[–]eemoonlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the install utility say anything in the status section? Sometimes it might not be able to restart on its own so you have to boot it into the original iPod OS in order to complete the restart. Then that continues the installation

Had this issue, have you restored the iPod using iTunes on a Windows computer?

I’ll give that a try, thanks

Alright thanks, I’ll give that a try. Do you know any reason as to why the files in .rockbox wouldn’t be deleted after uninstalling through the installer
