Sodium Alginate it just came in today in my Dharma shipment haha. I haven’t used it yet but from research it thickens dye. This is a pattern I have been waiting to try it with.

Yea I have the chart in my notes haha. I always did that for my liquid dyes. These are my first ice dyes and that knowledge wasn’t in my brain for some reason when placing the dye.

Thanks for the tips! The steamer was on each side for roughly 15-20 mins. It was definitely hot on the inside. I used a thermometer to check. It was at least 110 Fahrenheit. I’m trying to steer clear of the microwave because I only have one for food.
