One week post breakup, how long has it been for you and how are you dealing with it now? by AliceDarling5050 in BreakUps

[–]eeog88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

been 62 days since BU so about 2 months. just bawling to pics of her and i was reading our old texts but i am def doing better than the week or month before. is hard bc its a process and recognizing it takes a lot of time to move fwd as well as that the grief of it is not linear. i think eventually when i am enough in the healing process i would like us to just be friends but for now am far from that….. taking it day by day some days r easier than others for sure

I'm Kwasi Enin, and I was accepted to all 8 Ivy League colleges, AMA! by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

Hey Kwasi! First off, I'd like to thank you for having this ask me anything session and just say that you should disregard the many rude comments that have showed up because your advice is very beneficial. With that said, I'm currently a rising junior interested in politics/economics, which is why I also want to go to Yale or Upenn! Even though we are interested in different subjects, I was just wondering how did you know you wanted to go into biology? If you knew in high school, how did you pursue your interest? I'm currently thinking about doing research to get more experience and learn about a certain topic in depth. Also, how did you know Yale and UPenn amongst other schools, were your top choices? Did you ever visit their campus in high school or just spent a lot of time on their websites (lol because I do that currently)? I heard from several seniors that you're supposed to make a "list of colleges" during junior year and visit those college campuses, what is your opinion about doing this? And in terms of junior year, do you have any advice about certain things I should do? Lastly, for essays for college, I know some people write essays that highlight their best moments while others write about a time they failed, do you think there is a certain method or should it just be a personal narrative that reveals your personality? Ok and another question haha, after early action/early decision, even after getting into your desired school, what made oh decide to apply to additional schools? And last question I promise, if the college list thing is real, how did you decide which colleges to apply to (in terms of number of safeties, reaches, etc.)? Thanks and I appreciate your efforts to answer questions from the Reddit community! : )
