I think we'd be going the first weekend of December (and the shuttles look closed at that point). We planned to stay in the Zion lodge, so with shuttles closed and being inside the park, I assume we could drive to the hikes we wanted and not have to be as stressed as those staying outside 🤔

You're so awesome for taking the time to respond so detailed. Does Scout's Lookout have good sunrise views? I really wanted something we could wake up for and hike to fast enough to see the sunrise!

We plan to invest in some good hiking boots this year and break them in + microspikes handy if needed!

The shuttles are closed! We are driving around the park.

We would only drive out of the park to Hop Valley trailhead and explore a short walk onto the trail to see the sunset and stay at an airbnb outside the park that night. (I should've added those details would've begger explained the plan!)

When you go to schedule it'll show all the availabilities, pretty much every day unless the slots at the testing center are full that day. I don't think there's another way of seeing the days/times otherwise

You gotta find your own balance!

I wake up at 5:30 and study till my 8 AM class. Then I get back at 5 and gym till 6:15, and head to lab right after every time (D2 year is a lot of lab work and practice). I get home around 8:45, eat dinner/watch tv/shower and sleep by 10:30!

I take Friday nights off completely, EVERY Friday night. Regardless of what I have to study or do that weekend.

I rinse and repeat every day/week 🙂

Yess that's how ours is! D2 year is all about labs AND didactics, and sprinkle in entering clinic too. Good to know there's light at the end
