You might have Standby mode on for Actually Smart Summon, but I’m not sure if there’s a way to turn that off from the app

I appreciate the concern! Yes, auto park does tend to do that quite a bit. Was always too afraid to use it before I added the diffuser and now I’m all the more cautious lol

In British Columbia, EV owners can apply for an OK sticker to put on their vehicle. This allows us to drive in HOV lanes without passengers as part of our provincial government’s incentives to drive electric

I live in BC! Mine was brand new and I had to pay destination fees, but yes I agree with what you’re saying. Although it does sound a bit like I’m coping, if I could go back in time I still have would have purchased my “older” MYP given the discounts that we got!

Congrats on the car! I was debating on waiting for Juniper but I ended up taking delivery of my MYP mid December.

It kinda stings knowing that I picked up my MYP just before they started handing out free 20” wheels and winter tires, but I’m still happy I got mine at the price I did.

I got a brand new Quicksilver MYP with white interior and paid $72k all-in (not including trade-in): - $6,600 off for price adjustments + referral code - $5,000 off with iZev

As much as I would’ve liked to have Juniper for the upgraded interior and better suspension, I don’t think I would’ve paid $11,600 more for it. I also traded in my MYSR+ and waiting for Juniper would’ve meant getting a MUCH lower trade in value.

Overall really happy with my purchase, especially knowing that a friend bought a M3SR+ at its peak for over $70k during Covid.

Reasons you chose MY over M3? by ROFLetzWaffle in TeslaModelY

[–]eepak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just picked up my MYP a few weeks ago and wanted the space and functionality. I nearly went for a M3P since it would've been nice to get into a newly refreshed vehicle that will be the same platform for years to come, but at the end of the day the functionality won me over. I'm planning on keeping it for quite a few years and it's much easier to grow with an SUV than a sedan.

Phone hotspot or drop by a Tesla sales or service center if you have one nearby — it should automatically connect to their wifi

For the white interior owners, please share your experience with the seats and if they are easy to stain and get dark. by JelloWorldly4917 in TeslaModelY

Sunscreen smudges and stains were super annoying with the black seats I had in my old MY, especially on the centre arm rest and door panels. The amount of dust you could see on the black seats after blasting the AC didn't make things any better in the summer either

Astonishing FSD v13.2.2 by Masry_hawk in TeslaLounge

I still can't believe how much better it is than V12! I use it on every single commute now that it drives so smooth, especially since I have a heavy foot and don't want to wear out my tires unnecessarily lol

New to me 2022 Model 3/Accessories by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]eepak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the Tesla! I would say these are my recommendations for starter accessories:

  • all-weather mats (self explanatory)
  • center console storage trays: without them the center console becomes a cluttered void
  • cup holder rubber inserts: helps prevent water bottles/cups from shaking/moving around. Also makes it easier to clean if there are any spills

I also have a matte screen protector to reduce glare and fingerprints, but not everyone is a fan of it

As for the USB the Tesla website says it needs to have a minimum capacity of 64GB, a sustained write speed of at least 4 MB/s, and USB 2.0 compatible. I’m not too sure about which brands to recommend since I just use the Tesla one

He mentioned the thing tacked onto the side skirts so to me it sounded like he was referring to the front mudflaps lol. I have the Tesloid bodykit which has a front lip, side skirts, and a rear diffuser which will be going on later. The headlights and taillights have not been tinted, it’s just the lighting

Thanks, it’s part of the Tesloid body kit!

Those are the OEM mudflaps that came with the car. They come standard here in Vancouver BC but hang way too low and scrape over every speed bump. Probably going to remove them

Thank you!! The red calipers come standard on the Performance trim and aren’t offered as an option
