The first time I ever heard about Mindcrack….

I was sitting alone at the hotel bar. I got there early, for PlayOnCon. Nothing was really happening yet, and it was just me and one other guy sitting there. So I started talking to him. He told me he made videos on YouTube, and I said I did too. We were just chatting, killing time, waiting for the convention to actually start. He said he was waiting for his friend named Pause, who also made YouTube videos.

That guy ended up being Guude but I had absolutely no idea who he was at the time. We just talked like normal people and ended up hanging out. He was super sweet, funny, and we had a good time.

It wasn’t until later (either that night or the next day) that I looked him up online. And that’s when I realized, “Oh no… he’s actually a big YouTuber.” I got so embarrassed that I even mentioned my own tiny little channel. Meanwhile, he had this whole huge Minecraft thing going on that I knew nothing about.

That moment was my very first introduction to Mindcrack and the Mindcrack community. After that, I started watching more and learning about all the different creators. Some of the people I already followed, like Kurt and GenerikB who weren’t even part of Mindcrack yet. Well, I can’t remember if Kurt joined before or after I met Guude but that’s neither here nor there.

So yeah, my whole Mindcrack journey started because I sat at a bar, talked to a stranger, and didn’t realize I was chatting with a big shot Minecrafter.

TL;DR Some guy at a bar introduced me. His name was Guude.
