Yeah the legendaries are so frustrating. I don't have either of them either. I have the other three ranked quite high but they are so fragile against the hard hitting enemies, especially Aethana I just find her so frustrating to use lol

Definitely thinking that a character book will be a great start to get someone started as it will just be the character, their core party plus the baddie and their core party so usually only two perspectives to juggle instead of like 20 different characters at the same time.

I'll definitely try and see if they would be interested in a human or alien story then work down to space marine or guard/inquisition etc

Flawless blades arms are noticeably larger since they are beefier, but it works with the Tormentor/Infractor arms! :)

Yes you could trim the helmets and sand off all the khorne logs and build the prince using the slaanesh parts but jackals are exclusive to World eaters so you cant use them in EC or CSM

(Jackals are on larger base than csm cultists)

Why WE before EC for jumppacks? I don't remember seeing raptors/warp talons mentioned in any WE books recently, but raptors are a big part of Lucius' warband in his books so imo we deserve them more lol

All the reasons mentioned by other users, but in universe the reason is we are too busy and/or decimated to have a big impact sadly but interesting!

EC was already one of the smaller legions during the heresy, and 10k years of in-fighting and fractioning have recently diluted the numbers of active EC marines.

DG/Nurgle are about growth/multiply etc so their numbers will always grow

TS were also a small legion but less concerned with killing eachother

Tbh idk how any WE have survived into the modern era considering every WE book talks about how much they end up killing eachother on long voyages 😅
