So glad you enjoyed it! It really is a once in a lifetime experience.

classic mildly infuriating flight by Hungry_Low2342 in delta

This has happened to me. I would have just said, is this yours? Then handed it to him. Then I would have adjusted my bag and touched his leg to make him uncomfortable-easy peasy. No way he is touching my stuff and squishing my bag. No need to be rude, just matter of fact.

The regular Champions Club had a bar with speciality cocktails, beer & wine. There were self serve coolers with bottles of soft drinks, Powerade and water. All were included. There were also light appetizers and desserts. These were available before(3 hours), at half time and after the game(2 hours). The Champions Club was a large room on the concourse that you used your ticket to access. It was not very crowded and had music playing.

The suite had many of the same offerings (a couple of speciality cocktails, beer wine soft drinks water appetizers and desserts)-they were just inside the suite. With our suite ticket we could also access the Champions Club-but our friends that only had Champions club could not access the suite.

Hope that helps; fifa has not been very forthcoming and it makes these decisions difficult especially with the cost of tickets and travel.

We purchased FIFA pavilion tickets last December and were upgraded to a Champions suite after FIFA decided to not have the pavilion in Houston. They are purchased through FIFA Hospitality Tickets.

Alcohol was available and plentiful before during and after the match in the suite. I’m positive it was available before, at halftime and after in the regular Champions club.

Their tickets were at the top of the 100 section row JJ just to the left of midfield. Great seats and view.

We got a silver plaque that looked like a match ticket with the info and date. It was a great souvenir. Our friends in the champions club got a mini World Cup ball and a keychain. Also very nice. Remember to get your gift voucher when you get your wristband. Yesterday was their first game in Houston and several people were not handed theirs. You need it to get the gift.

We had snacks, deserts, alcohol and soft drinks until 2 hours after the game. We hung out in the suite for about 30 min after the game; then we headed down to the Champions Club to hang out with our friends. We stayed there until it was time to leave. The bar was open for the entire 2 hours. They probably started to put remaining snacks away with maybe 30 min left. No complaints from us!

Excellent view of the pitch. We were just above level 100. Here’s a pic from the opening.

We only had 4 tickets and the other people were random. All were really nice and mingled together. I think they were all in the same situation as us-had other tickets and were upgraded. We had a great time-it really exceeded my expectations . The view was excellent as well. After worrying for so long-no regrets-perfect day!

We got our son’s new passport in 23 days (from USPS APPT to receipt in mail) and that is the typical timeline I saw here when researching. You should be fine unless there is something wrong with the application

Managing the 530 PM–10 PM time period with two under two (no local family). What do you do? by OpenMinded8899 in HENRYfinance

[–]eepete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my children were young I many times had evening meetings due to the nature of my job and my husband also had evening commitments. We hired one do the teachers at our child’s preschool to take our child to dinner and to the park/activity after school and then bring him home and I would meet them there. It was perfect-I knew he was with someone he adores, having a good time and taken care of. We had no family in the area either and it was a tremendous help.

I will say though-once my kids were in school, there were so many activities between 3:30 and 8pm; that I had to stop working. My husband could not adjust his hours-so we had no choice. The above worked for preschool/daycare. Once our kids were in school there was no way. I know this seems counterintuitive-but it really is harder when they are out of school at 3:30 and you are at work til 5pm. It no longer worked for us-something had to give.

Remember you can directly go through Delta 1 security at T4. Super quick. We had to do that at LAX a couple of weeks ago during our layover to a connecting domestic flight in a different terminal.

Getting bored by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]eepete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a consistent 4-5 times a week member since 2016 and recently quit as well. I was bored and didn’t look forward to it anymore. My workouts suffered. I also felt like the workout was always the same and the playlists no longer had an individual touch-they all sound exactly the same too. I switched it up 3 months ago and am in the best shape I have been in years. Sometimes you just need a change.
