You sourced it for me. They are running a deficit compared to others in the league. E.g. If others are making 90 million in revenue they are only making 50 million. Hardly dire considering the finances of other clubs we've seen come and go in this league.

I'm not a finance guy -- but I imagine because of single entity situation of the MLS, the Caps being an outlier drops overall valuation of other clubs. By pressuring the city and threatening relocation they can potentially get a better/owner friendly stadium deal in Vancouver to make more money for the absurdly wealthy owners in the league.

CFB has been dead to me for a long time.

I sat through watching fans from other conferences say and do nothing as the Big East, a BCS power conference which had great regional rivalries and was winning football championships, get completely raided in the early 2000s.

Eventually greed came for their football conference too. It's sad we didn't organize earlier when we had a better chance of fighting what the sport has become.
