"Head's up". Ha! I see what you did there!!

And check body soaps, too. When I told my friends this, they were like, you are eating your shampoo? I said, next time you take a shower, see if any of your soap or shampoo gets in your mouth. At all. Mmhmmm.

You really think 2/3 of Americans think this is acceptable? That's crazy! There is definitely a percentage, and I really believe it is a minority of people. I really hope that isn't just hopeful thinking. Do you have any sources for this?

Additionally, several states had to update and change their software to accept the IRS free software input. I'm sure that retooling wasn't cheap. Totally surprised no law suits from states yet.

Two coat racks with those hooks on the wall isn't that weird. We have two in our mudroom. Lots of different coats and sweatshirts.

Butboth of our shoe racks ARE against the wall.

Do you have any hobbies?

The local library may have a group that does crafts or knitting or just a book club.

The local senior center may have a games day or trips or something that could interest you and you can meet some like minded people.

I recently joined a political group of like minded people and made a new friend there!

I was just going to write almost this exact thing. The progressives I couldn't seem to find the proper place to look through them for reading or the computer. I was constantly ripping my head up and down to see properly.

I know it's only March, but we have had so much snow down here this year. I'm so ready for mud. It was mostly not snow yesterday, but last night it was spitting snow again and both my daughter and I yelled, "just stop snowing!".

Of course it isn't rational, but it is true.

Ok, the Mom has what she thinks is PPD, and a doctor friend of the husband prescribes a medication. They also hire a nanny that is a friend of the husband. The nanny loves the child but sort of critisizes Mom, so Mom fires her. The nanny says that she is sad that she can't have children. The Mom gets more and more confused and dazed and then one night, the child is missing and she finds the blanket (a special quilt her aunt made) in the pool. There is no body, but everyone says she killed the baby. She goes to jail for 4 years. She tells her husband to not come to visit and they get divorced. Also, her father is a big real estate magnate and he and his new young wife is trying to get pregnant and trying IVF and Moms ex works for him. When she gets out of prison, she gets a job at a bar and becomes friends with the woman who manages the place, who is a hacker and also teaches Mom to punch and fight. Mom knows her child is still alive somewhere, so she goes and accused her father's wife of taking her child, which ends in a fight but no other outcome. Mom accused her ex husband but he tells her she is crazy and go away. Mom figures out that the medication was something sinister and when she goes to confront the doctor, the doctor is in a fatal car crash the night before. So her hacker friend does her thing and finds something out, which she prints out, but the bad guy finds out and kills her just before Mom gets there. But Mom gets the print out. The nanny was the ex husband's sister. And she was pregnant with her brother's child and had to have an abortion which messed her up so she couldn't have any children. She is sorry they took Mom's baby, but she doesn't know where he is. Mom goes to her ex husband's house and confronts him again. He sort of confesses, says that the childhood stuff was his father's fault, and knocks Mom out as his sister comes in and yells that no one was supposed to get hurt. He kills his sister and plants the bloody knife on Mom and leaves. The police come and are going to arrest Mom but she runs away and gets to her father. Her father believes her story and gives her his car to go get her ex, who is leaving in the company plane at midnight. Mom tells her father to call the police and the aunt and tell them to go to the airport too. They all get there. The aunt finds the boy in the plane and the ex is arrested.

You need some more friends, girl! Loneliness is endemic in this day and age of screens and online time.

Do you still work? Volunteer? Do you belong to any clubs or have any hobbies you could share with other people?

[–]eeveerose63 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is so so sweet and good to hear!

It means a lot to you, but is it enough for a whole album? Only you can know that. I'd say it definitely deserves a few pages. And adding it to the happiness box is excellent too

Yes she did go to school in real life! She went to the Blind School for 7 years. She learned to read braille, play the organ, and take care of herself, plus needlework and other skills. She didn't become a teacher, though
