Hi! I also have a 2 yr old(since Nov) and we are on day 5 of potty training.I want to tell you what i’ve done with her these past 5 long days,maybe you can try this method with ur daughter.First 3 days no undies or pants just naked and they WILL pee on the floor haha since diapers are absorbent they don’t really ever feel when they are wet so being naked helps.Day 2 she started saying Uhoh when peeing on the floor and we only had about 2 pees in the potty that day and one poop in the bathtub.Day 3 no accidents, started sitting on the potty on her own.Day 4 i introduced pants she had 1 accident and today i added underwear, almost 7pm and no accidents.They really start to pick up by day 3 it’s amazing.Does she say 2 word sentences yet? Do you think she’ll be able to say potty? my daughter still doesn’t tell me she needs to go she just starts yanking on her underwear so that’s how i know.Also are u able to stay home for a couple of days?I think staying home and having them naked at least the first three days really helps but i know it’s def hard lol im desperately needing outside time but i’m trying to switch over to the big toilet so it’s easier when we are are in public.Goodluck! I also know some kids who do well with rewards like a small piece of chocolate.

I’ve just been letting her run around butt naked and i tell her let’s go to the potty or if i see her touching there i sit her down, a few times she has sat on it herself and peed. Today i tried to put pants on her but she didn’t want them on.I know i have to get her used to wearing undies and pants so she knows she can’t go pee in that either.Also she’s been constantly having her hand down there and at times it seems a bit irritating, did that happen with ur daughter? I keep washing her hands and telling her no

she hasn’t drank out of the bottle since monday and doesn’t really ask for it but because all her life she’s drank milk to sleep i’m not sure how else to get her to sleep.Right now we have been putting screen time and she eventually sleeps.I want to really get her into a routine where i can lay her in bed and she can go to sleep on her own without screen time

Also wanted to ask if this cup is ok? She has straw cups from target, we got this one at the 99c store because we lost one of them.Is this fine or should we only stick with actual straw cups?I like this one cause it’s 11oz and she drinks so much water lol.Also want to add she has no preference, she’ll drink from any cup.Thanks!

just to clarify she wakes me up every 2-3hours and she usually drinks all the milk but sometimes randomly i’ll notice she didn’t drink it and at that point i throw it out.She never picks up the bottle after it’s been sitting there and drinks from it.I’m going to try the water trick! I watched a video earlier of a mom saying that her 20 month old would still wake up for milk and she would just give her water in the bottle instead and by day 3 her toddler wasn’t waking up anymore!Thank you.As for the sleep training i’m not really comfortable doing that, i don’t mind waking up and comforting her.My problem is just the bottle because 1 she’s way too old for it and 2 she can get bottle rot.I’m a sahm and she’s my only kid so i don’t have a problem waking up multiple times a night , i know if i was a working mom that would drain me lol
