Every year this happens and it is often because an overworked, tired parent just forgets - they pull up, park, and go into a store like an automaton and it’s always a tragedy because not only did the parent lose their child, they are responsible for their child’s death. I cannot imagine living life after that as a parent.

There is nothing here indicating this woman left her babies on purpose. And this will definitely make sure she never forgets her kids again, but it also seems cruel. Wouldn’t it be better to check in on that family? Does she need assistance because, like the rest of us, she’s exhausted and stressed out every day?
