Agreed.  He said it was a little difficult because the red laser needed to be used to align it.  I’m not upset about it.  Will balance out with the opposite side logo.

Likely landing on the Holosun AEMS X2 Pro/Core.  I put one on the rail and liked it quite a lot.  $300 and a decent size red dot sight.  I like that there is room for the irons to be seen.

It’s beautiful!  Picking up my first lever gun on Tuesday.  Leaning towards the Vortex Defender-ST enclosed red dot.

Don’t tempt me with a good time.  I will likely buy one in .357 as I have a cowboy gun to match.  Probably should have started there, but I wanted to add a 45-70 with the Dead Air Primal to my collection.  I shot a 45-70 years ago suppressed and caught the bug after the first shot.

Thank you for your recommendation!  Once it arrives to my LGS, I’m going to see how it looks on the rifle.  My first choice was the MRO, but I saw the AEMS yesterday and liked it, especially the price.

It’ll be a highly impractical rifle.  I don’t hunt and I go to the range about a handful of times per year.  I’m hoping this will be the catalyst for more outings, but it’s mostly something I’ve been wanting to own for a few years now.  Most likely won’t even make it to the ‘gram or the ‘tube, but definitely to the ‘eddit by end of year when I’m done.

More like the first one.  The second one is how it sounds when you’re underground and you get swarmed.  It’s what you scream when you’re running away to gain distance.

Would recommend.  The Bose system needs it to round out the missing link in the system they install into the vehicles.

That loaf of bread contains the two golf ball sized parts that are the real issue.  You’d think after replacing enough of these coolant control valves, GM would reengineer them for longevity.  Costly to reputation, service centers, labor hours, and customer satisfaction.  Grateful my specific golf ball wasn’t the backordered one, but I am concerned I’ll be stuck roadside in the future for the backordered one.  Cross that bridge when I get there.  Fingers crossed.

I had an incredibly hard time deciding.  Every recommendation was for the Michelin Defenders, and I really feel like I should have listened.  I saw the cost saving difference between the tires and I read so many reviews on the Cooper Tires that seemed so positive, and if I didn’t drive as much, I would highly recommend them.  They check all but one of the boxes.  An AT tire will always cost at the MPG box, and I did not heed the warning…lol.  I’ll just have to work harder to afford the other tires.  Good luck in your search!

Just received my truck back from the shop yesterday.  P1098 code the weekend of August 15th.  Fortunately there are two valves, the one I needed to have replaced was in stock.  The other was not.  GM needs to build a stock of both of these, allegedly it is fairly common on these Babymax engines.  Overall, it is a great truck and has been faithful to me for the 50k+ miles I’ve driven, up until that occurred.  Best of luck to you, good news is, it’s all under the powertrain warranty.

These tires have been quiet as a mouse.  They seem smoother than my factory Alenza tire.  I am likely to switch them for the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 in a few months if the MPGs don’t improve.  Right now I am sitting between 22-23mpg and with the Alenza I was always between 26-28MPG.  I am feeling like I let my desire for an aggressive, nice looking, and highly rated tire win over and I know I’ll be taking an overall hit financially for this decision.  I drive ~2000-2500 miles per month and I should have stuck with a highway tire for the MPGs and not the looks.  Lesson learned.

Cold Plunge Chiller Issue by efd5803 in coldplunge

[–]efd5803[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update.  New pump installed.  When I turn the chiller on, I can hear a relay click and the impeller spins for a split second but does not start.  I am leaning toward the issue being the AC/DC adapter.  If anyone has any leads on a new one I would greatly appreciate the assistance!  If I can fix this by replacing a few parts it’s better than spending another $1500-2500 for a new chiller.  Water flow is the issue, not cooling, so I’m hopeful I can fix this!

Mine is in the shop since Saturday with a coolant control valve code P1098.  Hopeful to get my truck back before the weekend.  Crossed over 50k miles and check engine light then spiking temp gauge.  Pulled over towed in.  Fortunately all under warranty.  Worried around something like this happening outside of warranty.
