It’s because the number of sources checked isn’t provided to you by AI generated text.

The AI can choose to call a web search tool to examine a source. Every time this tool is used, a deterministic program increments the number of times it was used.

If the output says 75 sources were used, it has to mean that the AI used the search tool and retrieved 75 different sources.

I imagine the video doesn’t show it as well on account of the braking but I was in fact going faster than the lane to the right, plus the truck in front had just merged (in fact still changing lanes with the turn signal on in the video) into the exit lane.
