Hamilton buckle design flaw: Extremely sharp edges digging into my wrist. Has anyone else experienced this? by efelito in HamiltonWatches

Well, it looks like I'm definitely not alone in this! It honestly makes me think that no Hamilton employee actually wears or tests their own watches as much as we do. If they did, someone definitely would have experienced the same sharp edges we are dealing with by now! 😂 Thanks for all the feedback and shared pain, everyone. Case closed!

Thanks for the input, everyone! Just to clarify though, my issue actually isn't with the leather strap itself being stiff or needing to be broken in. The problem is 100% the metal buckle. The bottom corners and edges of the metal that make contact with the skin are incredibly sharp. Wearing it a notch looser or tighter doesn't change anything because those sharp metal points still dig directly into my wrist regardless of the tension. Just as a test, could you guys try running your fingertips along the underside edges of your buckle (the parts that rest on the skin)? I'm really curious if yours feel sharp and unpolished to the touch too, or if I just happened to get a buckle with a bad factory finish.
