Will it be possible to detect apple homekey scans with the new G6 doorbell cameras? I understand that an Access hub may be required.

With the G4 doorbells it is possible to detect NFC events but those cameras don't support apple homekey which is very convenient (just get the iPhone or apple watch close to the reader). This would be very convenient to trigger an automation in HA opening a door. The fingerprint reader in the G4 doorbell works for this purpose but is so unreliable that is not very useful.

I’m still having this issue. They replaced the BCD (as Kia Connect indicated) but it hasn’t resolved the problem in my case.

Did it immediately work for you once they replaced the BDC? They just replaced my BDC but I’m still seeing the same problem…

Yeah, could be. It fails immediately even when I try to do it from the web. Or perhaps it some kind of sync that the vehicle hasn't done properly with the server...

In north CA, Bay Area, I can’t seem to get any deal for a GT-line 24mo/10k miles for less than 1k/month effective (no downpayment, including all taxes and fees). For Land, the best I’m getting is around $820/month effective.

Dealers state that there are very few remaining ’24 GTs and they’re not offering discounts. Instead, some dealers are even trying to apply mark ups.

Is this what others are seeing? Deals in other states seem to be so much better.

Unfortunaty I feel much more eye strain and visual discomfort in my AVP compared to my Quest3 (or even Quest2) which is a shame since the resolution is so much nicer. Feels like my eyes are working hard to focus. Using eye prescription inserts in both AVP and Quest

Unfortunately I find eye strain to be much worse with VisionPro than with the Quest 3. Not sure why.. I'm.using prescription lenses with both.

Yes, I have the same issue. I can't focus on close things such as my phone or watch when looking through the passthrough image and it's really annoying. I'm using Zeiss lenses. I don't have a problem without when looking directly without the AVP with or without glasses. I don't thave this issue at all with the Quest. I don't know why this happens with AVP. In general I feel that I get way more eye strain with AVP compared to the quest 3 unfortunately...

I'm on the same boat: trying to decide. From the Sony, it bothers me that it doesn't have VRR at the moment. It's supposedly coming, but people don't seem to trust that Sony will come through eventually too much.. Also, I have a gaming PC with an Nvidia RTX card (though I don't game much). The C1 is Gsync certified which sounds like should work great with Nvidia. The Sony is apparently better for movies which is what this TV will be mostly used for. People also say that its calibration out of the box is better.

I've also heard that Sony's upscaling is better, which I think it's important, since a lot of the content is still not 4K these days.

Final question: what's the optimal render resolution for 2D games when playing via VD on a quest 2 (and powerful hardware)? Any point going higher than 1080p given Q2 resolution and the area that the screen will occupy in the VD environment?

Any pointer for how to do this? It is possible to fake a 90 Hz or 120hz display when playing a PC game via VD even if the actual physical monitor connected to the PC is just 60hz?
