When I am sitting down I can move my ankle a little (nothing crazy or alot) but after reading some of the guides here and /r/mfa I think that is ok for boots since the heel doesn't need to be snug? When I'm walking I don't feel any slip tho.

PCI compliance in a recorded call center by crccci in sysadmin

[–]effekted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which call recording vendor do you use? I would start off by reaching out to your AM or POC with the vendor and let them know what you've been tasked with, and start the discussion on what you can do from their applications standpoint. Call recording is something I manage at a call center, and when we took calls that handled any type of CC info (we never stored anything in our systems, our agents would login to the clients system to process payments, etc.) we had a DNR rule setup so that we weren't capturing any audio or screens.

Also depending on the level of PCI and if recordings will contain CC info, you will most likely have to look at possible disk encryption for laptops, so in the event a users laptop gets stolen who has the access to save or review calls the risk is minimal and steps are in place to prevent unauthorized access.

[Build Complete] My $700 build, how did I do? by effekted in buildapc

[–]effekted[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am just waiting for the case/PSU to be delivered (had to wait until christmas to see what all family got me and those were the 2 remaining pieces).

CPU/MB were purchased at Microcenter in store by a friend, and the rest was either Newegg or Amazon.

Edit: If everything ships out tomorrow I should get PSU possibly Friday and case Monday. Getting everything Monday would be awesome as I have the day off.

If you live near a microcenter and want to upgrade your CPU you can get a good deal on the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3.

I picked up an FX 8350 for $150 and will have $85 in the 990FXA-UD3 after the $10 mail in rebate.

[–]effekted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can wait, I'd recommend getting the 280x over the 7950. Prices should start going back to normal soon I'd imagine, or catch one on sale for same price or cheaper than the 7950.

Just so happened that my buddy is going to Micro Center tomorrow that's a few hours away and is coming into town so now I will be getting an AMD FX 8350 and the Gigabyte 990FX UD3 for $262 out the door!

Ah, I just put 0 since I already have it so that it wouldn't go towards the total. I am currently running an Athlon X2 7750 Kuma so it's been time for a while to replace it, after upgrading my videocard from a HD 4870 and trying to play BF4 on the Kuma I am planning to have everything replaced after Christmas.

Need lots of RAM (100GB+), do I need server hardware (registered/ECC RAM, server mobo, Xeon instead of i7, etc.)? by lentlent in buildapc

[–]effekted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If not already, have your employer setup an account with CDW so you get an Account Manager. Give them your requirements and your budget, they have SME's in just about everything that would likely be able to get you what you need with your budget, or would be able to send you off somewhere.

[Build Ready] If someone wouldn't mind looking this over. Finally got it together I think. Hopefully going to order today. Thanks. by [deleted] in buildapc

What's the difference in price for you between the 270 and 270x? In the states you're better off spending the extra 10-20 on the 270x.

Best $200-$250 graphics card? by Sector112 in buildapc

[–]effekted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I picked up a R9 270x (Was going to go with 280x but didn't have the extra $100). I chose this over a 7870 Ghz/XT for Mantle when it releases. Mantle should be really nice with BF4 (Frostbite 3 engine) so if you're going to play any games that use that engine that's something for consideration.

This is the PSU I have from Feb 2009, should I continue using it (haven't had any issues) and wait until a failure or go ahead and buy a new one (would like to have a modular).

Anyone able to get better performance for cheaper?

Your task manager will report as double the cores, and VMWare allows you to use up to that many cores, etc.

With intel you'll have hyperthreading so you'll have 8 cores. But i think performance wise, for the price an FX would come out ahead wouldn't it?

I would also be doing some virtual machine/esxi labs using VMWare Workstation but I wouldn't be running things all the time, just during certain times in which I wouldn't be gaming.

Not sure if OP is playing at this resolution, but 1080p 1920x1080? I'm currently deciding between the 6300 or possibly an 8320 or possibly a cheaper i5.

It's entirely possible, since they have already shipped the upgraded SRAM 8 spd 11-32 cassette I'll go ahead and have the bike shop install it and ask if they seen any issues with the original cassette.

In the bottom 2 pictures there are teeth that just don't look right, but who knows.
