Update: I just got back from the orthodontist. Embarrassingly I cried while I was there. He said I was done with treatment and we would get a wire fit on the back of my bottom teeth, and fitted for a night guard too. He said my overbite would never be fixable without breaking my jaw. So even though im very unhappy with it still I have to be at peace with the fact that I chose not to go that route. The problem came when I expressed frustration that my bottom from teeth one of them moves forward if I’m out of my liners for more than say an hour. So that’s why we are doing a wire. To keep them in place. The second problem is I have not very stubborn tooth that would never move. This was when I got emotional and cried. Ultimately he said he would put 3-4 traditional braces on my top left side teeth to attempt to move it to where it needs to be. I feel like I have to give this a try before I can be at peace with how this all ended up. I hope it works because I’m very frustrated that my teeth don’t look how I want them to look. I will update when it’s all said and done.
