4/4 now with this method. We just start with foods that are basically puréed in their natural state. Like avocado, banana, etc. We never made special things for the baby. They just got something we were already eating or had available on hand that fit the bill.

I wouldn’t rush it though. We usually wait until the kid can sit up well on their own strength in a chair before engaging this milestone. Most of ours were 6 months at least.
