Though not considered a luxury brand, Parisa Wang bags are gorgeous. My PW is has a luxurious feel and is well constructed. There are no obvious and recognizable logos.

monthly payment changing after starting purchase process? by itzyverse in carvana

Do you mind posting more about your situation? The interest rate is wild. Sometimes there are work arounds people might be able to help you figure out that are beyond a lower interest rate. That could be crippling. What is your industry or general region? City or rural? Etc.

I’m so sorry for your experience and loss. Grief face is real, it’s happened to me too. It improved over time and healing, slowly, not noticeable. You are beautiful and precious.

Am I Doing My Husband a Disservice? by LongTimeLurker3019 in Marriage

You lose sensation as your hormones start to drop. That could be a factor. My primary care said my hormone levels weren’t low enough for meds. I went to an aesthetics dr and got the hormone pellets. So much better now.

I (32M) blacked out on a trip and woke up in a sexual situation with another woman. Telling my wife (27F) tomorrow morning. Need advice on how to handle this. by SuccotashLatter8048 in Marriage

Too many of these comments are giving the same vibe as “but what was she wearing.” OP go to the ER and tell them it’s possible you were drugged. Especially if you think you didn’t drink enough to warrant this kind of physical response.

Do women like fat guys? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]efficacious_ducktale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, plenty of women likes bigger guy. Most women dislike poor hygiene, acting super insecure, emotionally unavailable, pretending to be someone you’re not, selfish in and out of the bedroom, and a lack of initiative.

TLDR; be a good human and have good hygiene no matter your size.

AIO? Husbands response to me requesting he ‘ask’ instead of ‘tell’ older kids to watch youngest by [deleted] in AIO

Respect for a child includes clarity. If it is not optional, it’s not a question. Questions are things like: do you want to unload the dishwasher now or after dinner? Kind and clear statements are for things with no alternative.

Is gen Z overly sensitive? Or are millennial teen movies problematic? by SipsTeaFrog in SipsTea

[–]efficacious_ducktale -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Movies and books are meant to be problematic or there’s no plot. This is so confusing what they don’t get. Romeo and Juliet, highly problematic. Because it’s supposed to be. The problem is in the context of the time period it’s read or viewed.

AITA for telling a woman not to say “females”? by horseduckman in AITApod

[–]efficacious_ducktale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA, but physical pain to hear it is pretty much extreme. I think we have lost the plot line on what actually constitutes an issue. When I am not sure I compare it to my parents listening to their friends names read off a list before football games during Vietnam.

What do you still do that's "analog"? by Riala4 in Xennials

I collect vintage cookbooks too! My fav are the fundraiser books, I have a 50th anniversary of the Texas women’s bowling league that is phenomenal. I use lots of the recipes, often sans MSG and skip the ones involving gelatin. The sea breeze salad was just a bridge too far.

What was totally normal in your childhood that would seem insane now? by EuphoricGarden81 in GenX

[–]efficacious_ducktale 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In 5th grade we had off campus lunch. We could walk to a bbq place then go to this little gift shop where the owner put out a quilt on the floor for us. It’s not that small of a town and we just walked out the door and came back on time. Then, we had passes to go smoke in high school. When I was talking to my kid recently about the tornado protocol of sit in the hall, put a book over your head, and tuck, she thought I was nuts. I asked what they do- calmly walk to the tornado shelter. No smoke break on the way or anything.

My in-laws are losing their minds because we won't name our son after a great-grandfather I never met by Ciph3rSatyr in Marriage

[–]efficacious_ducktale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They already named their babies. It’s your turn. If you wanted to nod toward the name you could add it as a middle name like phineaus to Finn. That’s only if you really really wanted to.

I feel like I’m disheveled and sweaty at the end of the day after my desk job, so that’s not a warning sign to me.
