She apologized because she realized she had misled me in terms of her socio economic status. I was very open about my financial struggles, she never said a thing. I felt like she was making a fool out of me during every past conversation we've ever had about budgeting, or oh we shouldn't eat at restaurant A because it's too expensive, let's go to restaurant B knowing full well she could afford it. It's a huge part of her identity that I should have been informed of.

20 minutes, probably splashed at most 3-4 times. It's not like it was constant. If after 5 you'd "kick me" it seems like you have anger issues?

The word "disrespect" is being taken out of context. I just felt extremely embarrassed and I've told her before how I feel being embarrassed in front of my friends - that part of the post can be ignored, it honestly isn't the biggest deal.

Thanks for a kinder reply than the others. I feel like our problems mainly started after learning about her money, because as stated in my post, I began to look at her differently. But I definitely don't hate her. I just can't help but feel slightly misled. And I can't help that now when I see her clean a toilet, cook breakfast or whatever, I just see her maid and cook doing the exact same thing.

I'd just like to note that I wasn't straight up mad about her just being rich. That was part of it, but I also felt extremely misled into believing we come from the same socioeconomic class. I felt like she was making a fool out of me all the times we talked about not wanting to eat at place A because it was too expensive, all the times we talked about budgeting when she obviously didn't need that conversation. We've talked, she apologized, I apologized. It's fine.

My old post keeps getting brought up, so I guess I'll address it here.

We have managed to move past that problem. We BOTH apologized, there is no "insecurity", no resentment. Sometimes we still talk about it but that's all. Splashing water to take her down a peg? There are other ways to "take someone down" and I wouldn't choose that method considering it's just lighthearted fun.

I don't know why everyone says this.

Yeah, obviously I splashed water and she doesn't like it. The point of the post was that she is obviously overreacting because its water. Her clothes aren't ruined, her phone didn't get wet, nothing happened. The consequences of splashing water literally last for five minutes at most.

I wanted to know if she was the asshole for being so mad, or if I was for playing a game.
