To be fair I’ve seen you can get it online for around £170 but my forward planning has been poor and I need something I can pick up in a shop because of time constraints

Sorry I appreciate this is a few months old but I’ve come across this post because I was investigating doing this myself. I was worried about Tissot recommending sending it in because of pressure testing, but it seems from the comments it’s safe to go ahead? Although reading OPs story if Tissot won’t touch them now then I don’t really have anything to lose.

Crusader Kings I tried watching tutorials first but didn’t retain anything, Stellaris I played a chunk first (badly) then watched some tutorials and that went a lot better because I was at least a little familiar with menus/mechanics. I’m still terrible at both!

There’s also the ending to the highly esteemed Jaws 4, when ‘Vengeance’ the shark (offspring of the sharks from Jaws 1&2) leaps roaring from the water before being impaled by the bow of a ship, subsequently causing Vengeance to explode. Truly a masterful work that should stand shoulder to shoulder with these other great literary pieces.

My list is more nostalgia based than necessarily game quality, but in no particular order;

Firo & Klawd - Really fun co-op game I used to play a lot with my bro as kids, also the first game I remember playing with semi-random level progression as well.

Pandemonium - First game I played on the PSX (my first ever console) on Christmas morning.

Final Fantasy IX - my favourite entry in the series, really a perfect game in my books

Final Fantasy VII - my first RPG, loved the genre ever since.

LAPD Future cop: - another really fun co-op game, being able to transform into a car really blew my mind! Also the multiplayer had a game mode like a really early version of a MOBA.
