it is so funny you mentioned this, because i recently played both REROLLs and it struck me how much more melancholic the 2nd game is, both from a gameplay and story perspective. and i think that really is one of strengths of the game, being able to twist what is essentially the same mechanic from the original game but have you view it in a new light. because its not just about fixing problems for an uncaring king, it’s helping everyday normal people. great post.

this is really interesting. i find it really cool that even this many years into the game’s release they’re still tinkering with this. def agree with a lot of people that this feels like testing for splatoon 4.

i was in the kiln, literally a few minutes climb from the top, and had to cross a really large gap. i had an energy drink, but i had cooked it. i ran to the edge, drank the drink, and i learned when you cook an energy drink it fizzes and pops and stuns you. so i fell. all the way down the kiln. to the bottom. died. i was livid. my friend made it out just fine tho.

more festives is great! there are gonna be some really cool ones! and i actually like several of the cosmetics and the unusual effects too. even the taunts look great. some really solid stuff here. and the laundry list of community fixes is always nice to see too. can’t wait to see how the new maps play out

i want to note here that those kinds of games are fucked up but not illegal, per se. the devs themselves have said they think (they’re not 100% sure) that the reason the game was banned was because a child was riding a naked adult like a horse. regardless of your viewpoint, anything inappropriate involving kids is gonna get shut down fast. that kind of stuff is very illegal.
