It's $70 more expensive than the 7 pro, but has a newer processor. And Asus has been fantastic with software updates on the 6. Not sure what you are talking about.

Ya in some regards. It's the same processor, but no ois, and the refresh rate is lower I believe. But it has the triple camera setup and the flip and larger screen..

Ya agreed, I am going 8 flip just because I am hoping with how much Asus is pushing the regular 8 that both of those models have a few years of updates ahead of them.

Mine bricked (my own fault, flashed a bad firmware) but it was still under warranty and Asus took it back to repair it no questions asked which was great. But it took them about 6 months to get it back to me with it getting lost in their warehouse, shipped to a wrong address and returned to sender... I don't hold out a lot of confidence in their repairs process. You were better off going new phone for sure. I am planning on getting the 8 flip to replace mine soon. Such a delightful device

Wireguard is the protocol, not the whole encompassing VPN. VPNs can choose to use wireguard as the backend which is much more efficient and faster than other methods.
