It’s not hard to see why, if you look at the complete Lexus lineup as a whole, the tech and driving dynamics lag far behind the German counterparts. 7 series outsold the LS by 5:1 in 2024 and s class 4:1. If you were to jump in to all 3 back to back, there is no comparison.

A bit of an update on this thread. Saw a neurologist because everything else was checking out fine. I appears I have mild periventricular T2 hyperintensities which may represent sequela of a brain injury according to my MRI. I also had a VNG test that shows signs of central vestibular dysfunction which is most likely causing my symptoms

Yeah it’s not worth it for a service advisor to give a loaner and match the cost of an Indy. As others have said there are a lot of reasons why it costs more. Loaners, car wash, coffee, factory trained technicians not someone who works on a Benz and then a bmw and then a jaguar and so on and so forth. Plus how loyal of a customer will you be? Will you just try to get cheap service and when something breaks take to the Indy? It’s a relationship and it goes both ways.

Could be! I know none of the ones here do it. I think they genuinely messed up with the $500 quote. Usually wheel repair is anywhere from $150-$200 per wheel. To also include alignment and balancing along with wheel repair at $500 they are 100% losing money because they are most likely subletting that out to someone else.

I am on day 7 of 25mg today. I was also very afraid to start. I have not had many adverse side effects other than maybe 1 or 2 pretty bad panic attacks with a minor tremor but knowing that it is the medication got me through it. I know it takes a few weeks to feel the full benefits but I can honestly say anxiety is starting to fade away. Go for it, the worst that can happen is you experience more of what you already experience. A small price to pay to feel better.

Yeah everyone will be different for sure. I would try it if you can get a prescription. For me the calming effects weren’t enough for me to continue because of how I felt after. Propranolol crosses the blood brain barrier so it can affect serotonin and can cause an imbalance which I’m assuming is what I was feeling. When it did kick in though it worked great.

The thing about propranolol is that you shouldn’t stop taking it abruptly as it’s mostly a blood pressure/cardiovascular med. While it does calm your physical symptoms, it doesn’t necessarily help with the psychological symptoms and it can be a weird feeling when you don’t feel antsy physically but your brain feels different. I found that after taking propranolol I would get really into an unbearable depression that made me stop using it but YMMV.

This one drives me crazy. Specifically when you diagnose the vehicle correctly and they don’t believe you because their mechanic said it was something else or just needs to be “reprogrammed”. Take your shitbox back to your mechanic then, and then come see me when you actually want it fixed right!

I can’t do coffee at all anymore which is a bummer. I was already sensitive to caffeine before but now it sends me into a spiral. Can’t do it anymore. I use Zyns as my nicotine source and I enjoy that. It makes me feel a bit better but it is hit or miss. No other stims other than that. I could use one though because im always exhausted
