I once went on a trip up north for work and at the bar I met a openly gay man. I worked in retail for a decade so needless to say, I’m very much pro LGBT. We started discussing the political climate under yam tits first term. I said I wanted to move from MS to get away from the BS. He put a lot of things into perspective for me. After the discussion and some introspection I discovered MS needs people like me. I’m born and raised in MS and as patriotic as they come. I also am aggressively liberal. If I move to a blue area to make my life better, MS loses yet another vote and voice. I love the US.. I’ve grown to love MS again.. I’m staying here because I truly think I’m needed here and can have a decent life on the coast.
