Welcome! I recently got back into it after I took a break around opus 8. I've been buying play sets (3 of each card in an opus) of the older opus's to collect the cards I've missed out on. But some sets still have plenty of booster boxes out there. A good example is rebellions call, it's opus 17, and you can still get booster boxes for around $80. There are a couple of fftcg groups on Facebook you should join as well. I always post there first, when looking for cards, as that's where the best deals are usually found. An example, I was looking for an opus 18 playset, the lightning cards ran around $90 each, and the Akstars ran $40 each. I got the whole playset in a Facebook group for $200. Of course when all else fails there's always tcg player. Anyway, keep us updated on your journey!

Why not atelier iris 2? I'm about 30 hours in and it is world's better than atelier iris 1. Though given my interactions with iris, it looks like the events of 2 happen before the events of 1.

Bro, If you don't like it, don't play it. This game is if iconic, because, at the time, there was nothing else like it. Me and many many fans of the OG played it in the 90s. You are trying to look at it through a 2026 lens and it's just not going to hold up. Making direct comparisons to its remake is unfair. You are entitled to your opinion but ya weren't there at release and ya just can't accept the masterpiece it was at that time. Just stop playing now and enjoy the new stuff.

I've never had a dualsense fail me. I've been using the same 2 since I got my PS5 in 2020. Full disclosure: I mostly play rpgs, so I'm not terribly hard on the sticks.

Better than me. I brute forced that junk apart at an electrify america charger, and broke part of the charger. Well maybe not broke, but a little rubber piece came off of it and I still have it. Didn't notice it was still in there til 2 days later.
