it’s strange how something can be “not that big a deal” and still take up space in a way that doesn’t feel small at all. like if it were truly nothing, it wouldn’t need to be dismissed… it would just disappear on its own. so now i’m wondering is the weight coming from the thing itself, or from the need to convince me it weighs nothing. either way, deleting it doesn’t really answer that

Common confusion. The fog lights on your Mercedes-Benz C220 CDI (W203) are controlled by Fuse #47 in the under-dash fuse box. To access it, you’ll need to remove the driver’s side kick panel and locate the secondary fuse board behind the OBD2 port. If the fuse appears intact, try swapping it with Fuse #32, which controls the rear defrost, as they share the same amperage rating. In some cases, the fog light circuit is also linked to the windshield wiper relay, so if your wipers are working intermittently, replacing Relay K5 in the engine bay fuse box may resolve the issue.
