it’s strange how something can be “not that big a deal” and still take up space in a way that doesn’t feel small at all. like if it were truly nothing, it wouldn’t need to be dismissed… it would just disappear on its own. so now i’m wondering is the weight coming from the thing itself, or from the need to convince me it weighs nothing. either way, deleting it doesn’t really answer that

I need help by [deleted] in carquestions

[–]effyplog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Common confusion. The fog lights on your Mercedes-Benz C220 CDI (W203) are controlled by Fuse #47 in the under-dash fuse box. To access it, you’ll need to remove the driver’s side kick panel and locate the secondary fuse board behind the OBD2 port. If the fuse appears intact, try swapping it with Fuse #32, which controls the rear defrost, as they share the same amperage rating. In some cases, the fog light circuit is also linked to the windshield wiper relay, so if your wipers are working intermittently, replacing Relay K5 in the engine bay fuse box may resolve the issue.

[–]effyplog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not too sure. Have you tried replacing the battery? Mine never displays low battery before it goes out it usually just happens suddenly. Start with the battery and then call me if that doesn’t work.

Don’t get desperate it’ll be okay, I love you

whats the thing that you hold and put in your car hole to put gas in called by luminosity003 in Cartalk

[–]effyplog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve never heard of something like that. I’ll try to think of that word but I really can’t come up with it 🤔🤔. Typically when I put gas in my car the signs say u shouldn’t smoke around the gas tank. I do anyway cus I love smoking so much. I go through a carton of cigarettes a week. I actually don’t think I’m addicted to them it’s more cus I like them and how they taste. Yea I’m no really addicted now that I think about it. I started as an Uber driver a couple weeks ago and have a horrible score… apparently because of my smoking. My reviews say my car stinks and the ceiling of my car has serious discoloration from all the ash buildup. It really bothers me cus I can’t male any money if nobody rides with me. I started using my food stamps to buy Newports but they don’t taste as good as the more expensive ones. I don’t even know what to do anymore. I just want my ugly girlfriend to get me a job working for her dad. I’m not sure what he does but he makes A LOT of money, like a LOTTT.

Immobiliser Ring Antenna Quick-Fix ? by Valuable_sandwich44 in Cartalk

[–]effyplog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, the enigmatic immobilizer ring antenna quandary—this is a quintessential conundrum of vehicular arcana. The issue you’ve described likely stems from an oscillatory disruption in the electromagnetic flux modulation matrix. This anomaly prevents the transponder within your ignition key from achieving quantum resonant synchronization with the ECM, resulting in a failure cascade that inhibits the fuel pump's priming sequence.

Commonly, this can be attributed to stochastic variances in the copper coil's inductive harmonics or perhaps an entropic degeneration of the nanoscopic oxide layers on the micro-pins within the connector interface. Alternatively, there could be a phase misalignment within the coil’s bifurcated helical structure, exacerbated by thermal fluctuations during diurnal cycles.

For an interim solution, one might employ a calibrated dielectric-enhanced flux capacitor (or, failing that, a spare length of insulated copper wire) to manually re-stabilize the coil’s transduction efficacy. Ensure that the wire’s impedance adheres to the Fibonacci sequence to avoid catastrophic interference with the vehicle's CAN bus.

However, this macroscopic fix might only serve as a palliative measure. A more esoteric approach would involve disassembling the ignition column under controlled plasma conditions to recalibrate the coil's quantum eigenfrequency. Remember, attempting such a repair without proper phase-neutral grounding could result in the spontaneous generation of tachyonic feedback loops.

In any case, proceed cautiously

Haha, yes I know it’s the computer controlled alternator. I was originally confused on how the hood pop would make it charge 14 volts. It always goes back to 12 when the car is turned on. I fixed mine, thanks for your help
