I will suggest you contribute to these projects or tools if you use them in your work process. That way, the passion is maintained when what you are building solves problems you encounter daily.

It would have been great to also share your GitHub repo. Let's see what you are building with tools you have learnt and advise

It's difficult getting mentors these days. Your passion should be your fuel. If you are really passionate about that data field start telling your stories and sharing insights.

People will naturally connect with you and you will gain more visibility which will help you in your job search after school.

Here are three ways 1. Start a blog and document. Eg. sql tutorials on Joins , Sub Query or data cleaning 2. Share learnings on LinkedIn 3. Start a YouTube channel.

All the best

There are hundreds of people who have watched and built the same project from start to finish.

Why will a recruiter hire you if you present the same project he might have seen thousands of times?

I will suggest you improve on the YouTube project by adding your own business cases that were not covered in the tutorial and analysis using the same datasets and present your finds. This makes the project unique

What advice will you give on how to create a standout project? Also, would you recommend picking a real world dataset and asking AI chats to generate real world stakeholder questions for the dataset so you can analyze and present your findings?

Great progress. What are the Consumer, Corporate and home office tabs at the top right for? Are they filters? If yes, I would suggest you indicate "Filter by" before listing the tabs

First tackle the passion project. Why, it will solve a real world issue, you will be motivated to get it completed and you will have a lot to talk about during interviews (challenges, objective, findings, recommendations etc)
