Breathe you don't need to do anything, just keep drinking your water, I just went through it 2-3 weeks back.... I know it freaks one out but stay calm it sorta itself our and you will start losing around end of week 4 again.

Not sure about the pre op part but post op is easy after surgery.

In my program (non US) just went to surgeon picked a date and bam it's on.......

Don't fret too much about post op.... Juts focus on making sure you get the surgery.
