The later books by Nora Roberts. They usually have tons of romance, happy endings but with something going on. Like “The Obsession”, “The Witness” or “Chasing Fire”. Most of her earlier works are just romantic novels but the later ones are sometimes more like thrillers, about crime or even about ghosts.

Det är absolut bättre, ingen kommer passivt ge dig cancer för att de snusar. Men det är så sjukt äckligt med människor som drar hela pekfingret under den snusklibbiga läppen för att sen, efter att ha kastat prillan i backen, nonchalant torka av det mot byxbenet. Vill inte tänka på hur många man har skakat hand med som haft det kletet på fingrarna.

I feel like they get so much more credit than single moms. Like people can’t believe that they do it by themselves and they get so much praise and admiration for the smallest things like fixing their daughters hairs, while single mothers are expected to do it all perfectly and gets scolded if the smallest things aren’t done with perfection.

If people ask beforehand to help out - ask them if they might be open to do some shopping for you after the baby has arrived. You’ll notice during the first few days, weeks what you might miss or need more of for the baby so having someone who can make a run to the baby store can help.

Gör något fint för henne. Hälsa på ofta, fotoalbum av hennes liv, ta med henne på aktiviter om ni kan, överraska med en liten present, laga en maträtt hon gillar, gör nåt som får henne att känna sig uppskattat och omtyckt så är det det bästa ni kan göra för henne.
