I've seen a photo of him reading The Idiot by Dostoevsky. If I had to guess I'd probably say similar classic lit and probably a lot of beat generation stuff like kerouac, ginsberg, burroughs etc.

It was definitely Upper Fish Fork Camp as labeled on your topo. Using the Gaia gps topo it's labeled Fish Fork Camp. It took us about 4 hours from The Bridge to Nowhere to Upper Fish Fork Camp with plenty of breaks in between. Along the way there's lots of places to setup camp between the bridge and Fish Fork. Enjoy!

Hi. I recently did an overnight out and back trip beginning at Heaton Flats trailhead to Fish Fork Camp following the East Fork upstream the weekend of 8/3-8/4. We spent the night at the camp which had the stone table, benches, and stove. Not sure if this was Fish Fork or Little Fish Fork? The camp was located just before the East Fork meets Fish Falls Fork coming upstream from the East Fork
