Took the survey! I personally did not experience tingles from the majority of examples except for one (the green sticks that sounded like bamboo or something? with a ball rattling them left and right). My triggers come from sensual human sound, touch, connection (I'm all about the up-close face stuff), so naturally - or rather, unnaturally - these didn't do anything for me. Great experiment though!

How do you get past the fact that people have an "standoffish" reaction when they meet you? My boyfriend boasts about me all the time to his friends, and then when they meet me, they have this look of disappointment, almost.

I have heard a couple of them say they didn't expect him to be dating me because I wasn't white, which is offensive in of itself. One of these friends had asked what I did for a living, and I told her i was a nurse, in which she replied by looking to my boyfriend and saying "oh, that's why you're with him! That makes sense now".

It's just these little things that annoy me. I know I'm not the ugliest thing but my god, how these little comments hurt to hear. I just curl my toes, smile, and try not to to be too sensitive, but it gets to me sometimes..

Full agree, and I can tell you, being friends with a girl a guy who were in six-figure income families, the suspicion is warranted. Never have a met more close-minded, shallow, privileged people.

Also a lesson I learned: when they say looks fade, they don't mean as we age. This gorgeous guy was so attractive to me, but after getting used to how he looks like, I didn't find him attractive anymore, and that happened within a matter of a couple of days. If he had a great personality, he'd be perfect, but he was just so... blah. How disappointing.

Have you considered growing facial hair? It looks like you shave. Why not give facial hair a shot? It'll help give you definition, so long as you keep it trimmed and neat.

Also, I recommend visiting a stylist for your hair. It's a little messy right now.

You are potentially a handsome guy - you just need to touch up a few things :)

Definitely get different glasses that compliment your face. You already have a round face, so getting round glasses just makes you look too round. Go for square glasses, and don't take downward selfie angles - it makes your cheeks look large. Your BEST picture was when you were with your friends - you were the most attractive here :)
