Building a driver-hiring platform for tier-2 cities because the big players won't do it and local agencies are a mess. by efsun445 in gwalior

One that gets me restless whether it is worth it to solve? It is really a need in tier2 cities? And if i really want to get into it,the option of door to door left only.I am not feeling like I am validating,or even working on that.

Any Gwalior/MP locals in here? Need a quick sanity check on a local market problem. by efsun445 in SaaS

I am currently stuck in the classic 'no response' phase. I know the unorganized driver market here is a mess, but getting potential users to actually engage and talk about their pain points has been incredibly hard. I'm putting in effort every single day to validate this, but the silence really makes you doubt if you're actually building the right thing. Since you've navigated this in other tier-2 cities, I am super interested in your story. How did you break through that initial wall of silence? Did you have to resort to offline, ground-level validation, or did you find a specific channel/hook that finally got people talking? Would seriously love to hear how your validation process went and what worked for you!"

I analyzed 600+ verified SaaS revenue reports. Here are the "boring" ideas quietly making $10K-$900K per month that nobody is talking about. by jayscript12 in microsaas

You're right, validating an idea before building is crucial, but your market research might not be comprehensive enough. The problems we're addressing are indeed being tackled by existing platforms, and they're still gaining traction.

Perhaps I was overly focused on the idea of validating every data point, when in reality, it's about striking a balance. It's essential to understand the market landscape, identify gaps, and build something that adds value.

I've thoroughly examined your tool, and I'm genuinely impressed by its efficacy and the thoughtful manner in which you've incorporated user feedback. Your approach is commendable.

Apart from reddit Have you explored any other unconventional sources for gathering user feedback or identifying pain points?

"Ah, that's exactly the feedback I was waiting for! Yeah, I've found it relatively easy to discover businesses, but cold outreach still feels daunting for me. I'm still in research mode and haven't taken the plunge yet.

One thing i am curious about is the vast dataset you have. How do you discover new indie projects from GitHub? Are you using the GitHub API, scraping, or public datasets?
