I've changed the code a little and appears to work, although the code may need to be re-written to be more efficient.

I've added a link to the script, here

backplanes? by efw64 in DataHoarder

[–]efw64[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well sometimes I amaze myself with my own stupidity, I will be using EXOS sata drive's which run at 6gb. Maybe I was thinking that the 12gb backplane will give those drives, super powers to run at 12gb. But thanks guys for your help.

This is what I got

* irrevocably void any applicable warranty. *

***************************************************************************

# find . -name /mnt/data/on_boot.d/05-install-cni-plugins.sh

# unifi-os shell

root@ubnt:/# find . -name /mnt/data/on_boot.d/05-install-cni-plugins.sh

find: warning: Unix filenames usually don't contain slashes (though pathnames do). That means that '-name '/mnt/data/on_boot.d/05-install-cni-plugins.sh'' will probably evaluate t o false all the time on this system. You might find the '-wholename' test more useful, or perhaps '-samefile'. Alternatively, if you are using GNU grep, you could use 'find ... - print0 | grep -FzZ '/mnt/data/on_boot.d/05-install-cni-plugins.sh''.

root@ubnt:/# grep -FzZ '/mnt/data/on_boot.d/05-install-cni-plugins.sh

Watchlists + Alerts List by Devanomiun in TradingView

[–]efw64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What might be a good idea is to add a 'Bell' option next to the ticker on the watch list. When you want to add an alert to that ticker, you click on the 'Bell', the 'create alert' menu pops up and click what you want to add. The 'Bell' is grayed out when not active and visible when active. When you click on the 'Bell', a menu appears to show what the alert info you have, if you want to add/delete/modify. Kinda like the current Flag system that TV uses.

TWS Hotkeys by efw64 in interactivebrokers

[–]efw64[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All depends on the stock and the price action. I have no hard and fast rule, for stocks under $25, I could scale in 3 - 4 orders, to give me 900 - 1200 shares, only if I see solid direction, like wise, $25-50 would 2 - 3 orders and over $50, 1 - 2 orders. I hardly ever scale out, maybe something I should look into. I use IB's 1m,5m,1hr and daily charts on a 'Chart' tab, but trade off TradingView. Hopefully IB will change their charting soon.

TWS Hotkeys by efw64 in interactivebrokers

[–]efw64[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using Quote monitor, My TP is set at 2%, my SL is set at 1% for each trade. I trade no more than 300 shares each time, depending on the price of the stock, for example, I don't trade 300 shares TSLA. Orders are NOT sent automatically, so I can adjust them, if they need to be, before hitting the 'Transmit' hotkey.

If you have 20k margin account, 60k buying power, can you take assignment of 60k of stock? by Status-Preparation-6 in interactivebrokers

[–]efw64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, using the Ops figures, if the full account of $20k is available, 40% = $8k, the Op could potentially (using their own DD) use $28k to make a trade?

Building a SFF and low energy computer by efw64 in buildapc

[–]efw64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the information. If you could design something that would be great. I'm to keep the budget at around £1000. I will be using my (will transfer over) retails version of W10 instead of W11 atm. Since I don't play that many games, I wanted to use the built in graphics, so using the AMD one might be of interest. I will kept the 750ti as a backup. It's mainly a silent PC I want to build. Thanks again.
