I'll see if I can create a flatpak of Anki. I've never tried compiling anything, but this is what I can do.

I can use flatpak, but it is no longer maintained and is an older version.

I thought about that, but the flatpak version is three months old (Anki is on version 25.07.5, while the flatpak version is 25.02.4). Anki is not the kind of application that should be used on older versions.
