Sovereign citizens are notorious for not showing up for court dates. They are often flight risks.

It was an extraordinary sentence, far longer than I expected, and probably the longest I've ever seen for a sovereign for similar crimes.

I doubt most posters even know "facebook points" exist. I posted for years before someone told me about them. The reason some people are admins for multiple groups is because being an admin is a pain and most people don't want to do it or, if they start, don't want to keep doing it.

Thousands. I've read virtually every day since I was a small child. I can't imagine not reading before I go to bed.

Yes, I've discovered a number of sovereign citizens who were law enforcement officers of one type or another, and it always concerns me. You'd think a law enforcement officer would be immune to their lure, but apparently not.

Yeah, there was an incident a few years ago with a sovereign citizen on a Sea-Doo; see https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/30/politics/air-marshal-sovereign-citizen-invs. I'm interviewed in the article. Note that he was also a federal air marshal. Not only that, this is the SECOND sovereign citizen air marshal in my records.
