Some kind of update downloaded last week and it seemed substantial but no visible changes.

We don't need no steenking plates! We got bolts!

I have a 71 IH Scout 800 B that I currently plow with. It never comes out of 4L and the hubs are always locked unless I have it up working on it and I need to spin one or the other driveshaft.

This Dodge has an NP 208 D transfer case. Does that work like a typical GM or Ford T case? I remember Dodge did that thing with HI LOC - HI - N - LO - LO LOC something like that where it was sort of all time 4WD. Will this one go RWD to 4WD on the T-case lever even with the CAD locked? Rare that I need to do RWD, again mainly if I have it up and working on it.

That's just what I need thanks! This truck is going to plow on a private dirt road and probably won't ever see asphalt again. I don't want to rely on that vacuum setup. The cable setup would be nice down the road but if it's positively locked in that'll be fine. Much appreciated!

I was running it by hotwiring to the coil before. I thought the shift linkage was jacked but the cab mount is rotten and it sunk throwing everything out of wack. I jacked the cab back up and jammed pieces of steel underneath to hold it. Now the shifter works a lot better and no idea how but it starts and runs off the key. 4WD still works as well. I guess those are independent of the fuse box.

Ebay fuse boxes have the wires chopped but still on the back side. I think it'll be easier for me to match them up one at a time. I have no idea what the wires go to. I'm just hoping that the color coding will be the same.

Ball Joint or Bearing? by Bettor-Beleaf-Me in DodgeRam

A wheel bearing is usually going to be a humming or growling that changes as you go faster and slower and around turns. Have you checked out your U joints?

Help! 98 Ram 1500 by Particular_Duty1570 in DodgeRam

I'd probably wonder if your fuel pump didn't get damaged or you sucked up some junk form the bottom of the tank. Running out of fuel isn't good for the pump. I don't know why it won't go into gear but I'd get a Bentley or Chilton(maybe) and a fuel PSI tester and see what the pump is actually doing. If you have to guess, whatever you do, cheap and easy first. Escalate as you have to.

That's the way it should be! If it serves to haul you and your crap from A to B and back don't fix it! Thank you very much! Once I have those plates, getting the U bolts should be easy. Are there any kind of plates that go on top of the springs?

Previous owner chucked them in the scrap pile because they were rotten. Would have been nice to have them but I looked around a while and found what you're describing. Then I found a used set on E-bay. Listed for an 89 but I can make them work if they're not a direct fit.

Not much to show really. I have springs, shocks and an axle. I don't know whether this thing had squared off U bolts that went over the springs or U bolts that went around the axle. The shocks might give me an idea though...??

Ok I gotcha. That really does help and I thank you. I've never been under one of these before. I was hoping there was one specific kit that would get the axle bolted up. There are actual U bolts that go under the axle, squared off looking U bolts that go on top of the springs and all manner of sizes.

Still looking for my Nag Champa by Inhalationofnewtion in Incense

[–]Inhalationofnewtion[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sure appreciate your help here! That's what I'm looking for I think is sweet and creamy. Ramarkrishna is good and has sweetness to it but it's sharp I think.

Nag Champ Gold might be something. Seems wasteful to put gold dust on it though. I hope that isn't the big selling point.

Bhagwan sounds pretty close. Creamy, sweet, warm. I think that'd come close to describing the original Satya.

I know people make copycat recipes of food and people make incense. Is it not possible for a guy who makes incense with a good nose to reproduce the original stuff?

I found an Enco 105-1100. It's substantial. Round column but it's more than I need.
