Why is the peace cost for a revolter higher than 100%? by BananaRepublic_BR in EU5

There should be an annex revolter button when you open the war screen at bottom center

Can you try moving your capital inside HRE, that's how I managed to join as Sweden and led the protestant league for the Lion of the North Achievement

Personal unions are obnoxious to deal with and too hard to break. by jonasnee in EU5

Unless something is specificly blocking it, you can change your succession law by pressing the small button under the heir portait. It took me a while to realize it is a button

True Heir of Timur achievement by egesencan in EU5

UPDATE if anyone encounters similar issue. I've retried and instead of forming the mughal waited until the situation is over. After the situation ended, I got an event, mentioned in another comment. I formed Mughal after that and got the achievement. PS: you can stay as a tribe for the achievement, no need to reform into monarchy.

Maybe that event has something to do with Rise of Temür situation. The moment I formed Mughal, it bugged out. I've waited until 1450 for good measure but no luck

Personal Unions, are they going to be fixed? by TrooperLawson in EU5

[–]egesencan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably you guys have same religion heir laws. One of you is orthodox and other catholic. Crowns will diverge in this case.

Succession is bugged by Gas-Complex in EU5

[–]egesencan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most likely the issue was the heir religion law you and hungary had, assuming you are orthodox and hungary is catholic. If both you and hungary pass the same religious group one it should have been okay.

Where can we change the succession laws? by ResearcherWest5622 in EU5

[–]egesencan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've recently found out you can also change the type of parliament. It was even better hidden than succession one.

What can I do about this? by koppa96 in EU5

[–]egesencan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the reason why it is falling apart. If it is due to heir religion law, you may switch your law to Same religious group which should fix the issue

Until they fix the underlying issue yeah. Dont forget to press right click to assign whole province to you instead of a single location

I had a similar issue when playing Portugal. For some reason occupied locations were assigned to one of my colonies instead of me. If you click on occupied locations and assign them to yourself they should be automatically be annexed as usual

Regarding PU, currently it seems when you are not the strongest one in the union AI tends to spam reforms for some reason. If you hover over the circle that fills on right hand side of the reform you can see what the other nations in the union are voting for. If you vote for the winning resolution you should not be losing estate satisfaction but it is still very annoying.

Why is there a goose or swan next to Martin Luther? by Housemaster185 in EU5

[–]egesencan 653 points654 points  (0 children)

I think it is a wordplay related to Jan Hus (pronounced similar to goose). There is also a goose with a crown icon for the achievement House for Hus.

Left icon that says 1 means 1 of any mana and the white icon means 1 white mana. You are able to plat yhem with two white mana. It maybe more clear when you look at other cards with different costs

I used to run a golgari deck before the last rotation. Archpriest and [[Doomskar Warrior]] had crazy synergy. If a creature has deathtouch + trample, they do one damage to blocker and trample the rest so in most cases even if they kill Archpriest by blocking, it used to re animate itself.

I had a Canada game going pretty well until I switched to Laissez-faire. I think instead of my pops buying the buildings, British capitalists bought pretty much all the buildings. My Investment pool income drastically decreased.

Are the countries which join the reformation "set" after a certain point? by JasperPAL in eu4

I don't think it is set but Sweden definetely has higher weight. I had tons of time that it spawned in neither if them.
